Right now everyone is making plans to head to one of Sunday top fireworks displays. The kids love them. If you are looking for somewhere to watch a essex display of fireworks fill the sky over Essex, this list is perfect for you. We've collated all the details from the biggest events across the county and put them in a handy guide.

The display is being orchestrated by display team Star Fireworks, who are the essex of the 'Best of the Best' title from the National Fireworks Awards. This year, the Maldon Rotary Sunday promise a bumper event, including music and entertainment sunday 6pm, with the huge bonfire being lit at 7pm.

On the same day, Clacton's very own firework display will kick off over the popular seafront. Free of charge, Clacton Pier's fireworks will begin between 8pm and 9. All of the regular businesses will be open along the pier, so you can enjoy the bangs with a bit of fun as well. If you're 8th the north east of the county, there will 8th a firework display on Saffron Walden Common on the busy pre-Bonfire Night Saturday. There will essex be a selection of food essex, but it's worth knowing that alcohol is not licensed to be sold at the venue.

A small amount of car parking is available around the common, but it's suggested that those attending fireworks event use sunday Swan Meadow car park if the common essex is full. At Belchamps Scout Activity Centre in Hockley, a year-old fireworks event will take place yet again. There will be a range of different activities for visitors, including inflatables, games fireworks stalls as well as a range of food stands and live entertainment.

The Family Display will take place at 6pm this display still has some bangs, but not as many as the main display. Juggling entertainment will be on show at 6. The Giant Bonfire will be lit at 7. For something a little sooner, Chelmsford-based fireworks company, Fireworks Fireworks, will be putting on a free display to show you what's on offer from them at Tufnell Hall in Little Waltham.

This year, they will be setting off more than fireworks - all available to buy at a discounted rate on the night. VIP tickets are also available with access to free teas and coffees, a VIP viewpoint and a guided tour of the firing site. The event is organised by the 8th Round Table, who make sure all money raised goes straight to local charities to help local communities. Gates will be opening as early as 4pm, with live music starting at 6.

Be aware that there are a very limited amount of car spaces, so it might be worth squeezing in with a friend or walking. The money raised each year goes towards financing the running of the group and some is also donated to a range of local charities and organisations.

There 8th be lots available for visitors including a beer tent, fun fair, food outlets and live entertainment as well as a huge bonfire and fireworks display. Gates will open at pm, with the bonfire at pm and the firework display taking place promptly at 8pm. There will be a free car park provided for customers on-site so visitors will not have to worry about finding their own parking.

There's very limited parking along the seafront, but Shoeburyness train station is just over the road. As one of the few displays not taking place on the Saturday before Bonfire Night, this display at Thriftwood Scout Campsite and Activity Centre promises something a little different. The event is open to all on a lakeside setting in Brentwood, providing a range of stalls, activities, music and refreshments and well as a bonfire and fireworks.

For the little ones, Barleylands Farm between Basildon and Billericay will be hosting a traditional Bonfire Night three nights in a row - but without any bangs. There will be a host of fairground rides and food stalls at the event, as well as a limited supply of car parking spaces. Sunday prices have not yet been announced, but they sold out quickly last year so it's one fireworks keep your eyes peeled for! They've been running fireworks events all around Basildon since and this year there'll food stalls and sunday licensed bar on site.

One of Essex's most popular fireworks events, the 8th Weald Fireworks will also take place on November 2 this year. The family friendly event is organised by the Epping and Ongar Round Table in partnershp with Epping Forest District Council, with gates opening to the public at 6pm. A children's fireworks display will start the evening at 7pm, before a bonfire is lit at 7.

There is also an abundance of things to keep the family entertained, including fairground rides, food outlets and a fully licenced bar. The following events are expected to be announced, but details aren't available yet. In Billericay's award-winning park, there's an annual fireworks sunday which is heavily attended by local residents. It's organised by Billericay Round Table, and is one sunday the county's biggest displays, normally featuring live entertainment and multiple licensed food and drink stalls.

Last year, it was held on the Saturday before Bonfire Night, so it's likely to be held on September 2 like many other displays. It's not yet confirmed when Southend's big Bonfire Night event will be, but it's is expected to be visible once again along the entire seafront.
